This is a spin-off of this (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=37754) thread. I was curious if anyone saw any noteworthy autonomous modes from rookie teams this year.

1610. I heard they capped a vision tetra during autonomous at Nationals. At VCU, they were the closest ever to capping a vision tetra than any other team.

I'm not sure what Franklin (1610) did in Atlanta since we weren't in their division, but they had the only decently working camera at VCU and the only rookie team I know of to have a working camera and had the possibility of capping in autonomous.

1680.. with a preloaded tetra they can cap the homerow center and knock the hanging tetra at the same time ! *they use a broomstick to knock down the hanging! its awsome!
our auto can cap center home with preloaded

Hi... mr mummert from 1610 here. I did'nt see the beginning of our
nationals matches so i can't say if "MB" did it or not. I do remember
that we had trouble with our arm controller during the first
couple of matches, probably why we lost our first match.
Also if anyone has video of the first match from VCU please let me know.
that was our first match and also the match where "MB" came so
close to capping the center goal. (if we had ,had a few more seconds
it would have done it)

Not to toot our own horn, but we (1675 UPS), when starting with a tetra, could knock down a corner tetra and cap the home center row. This is what we did in every match in Atlanta (7/7 knocked off, 2/7 capped, 4/5 missed caps capped right after autonomous mode).
With our AutoFlex system, however, we could perform any task required by alliance partners, as long as we had enough time to get to the practice field and drive it. We are going to perfect this system and have it available at IRI (hopefully we are going...things are looking good right now).

Our team (1676) had a great programmer. Our autonomous mode enabled us to knock down a hanging tetra and knock a tetra on our base into the center goal on the home row. (if we started with a tetra and were on one of the corners)
