Although we have 60 teams registered and some teams on a waiting list, registration payments were due on July 1st and not all of those 60 teams are going to be "in". The best way to stave off such misunderstandings is to PM a list of preferences to the commish. Therefore you are better assured (there is no such things as grantees) to get the team you want.

Yeah you could've but methinks everybody took off for IRI so I'm not sure what to do (you did mention 71 so you may have to go with them).

I'm not too worried about who I get. I could be randomly assigned a team if that's what people think is fair. I don't really think I should be able to pick any team I want, now that the event's over and I know how they did.
