does anyone know where i can get flash software, most prefrebly freeware or something like that so i dont have to pay for it?

The Flash software can be bought at www.macromedia.com and it is expensive. You can also pursue your school to give it to you as most schools have them. Alternately you can search on google for softwares like swift. Use the Search function on CD as there are many many many threads created like this.

There is CoffeeCup firestarter which is free but it puts a stamp advertisement for itself on your animation. If you want the registered version without that, it is $49.
It is pretty basic, but it is easy to use.
MING (http://ming.sourceforge.net/) might or might not be useful to you. It is free but it is not a GUI to make "flash videos" but rather a more "programming" type of thing.
