Were is the neither option? ;)

The question i ask myself is. What would my life be like in robotics without you two?

You two are both crazy motha's, but both are awesome

I cant choose just one. I need a heavy dose of Arefin and Tytus or the world doesnt spin

Arefin is a cool name but also Tytus is also cool.

Maybe after Nationals next year, I can tell you, if our team goes, who is cooler.

Tytus... you should have made one more option in that poll.

"Both of them are crazy and cool"

... Just to let everyone know, Tytus is my best friend. I can't imagine robotics without this kid. He has been there for me whenever I needed him. He is one of the most dedicated and talented student you will meet in FIRST.

Never heard of either of them... wouldn't want 'em to get a big head anyway. ;)

I'm in the both cool camp.

On average, aren't they both 98.6 degrees F?

Their temperature depends on a couple of things:
Heat transfer
Metabolism & Biological inner-workings

Both of these things depend on the situation taking place to or around them.

Heat transfer:
It really depends on what each one is doing at the time. If Arefin is hanging out in a pool (many of his pictures show this activity) and Tytus is not, then Ari-man is the cooler dude at the time, since the water is cooling Arefin's body and pulling his temperature down. However, if Tytus is driving around southern Florida with his windows down causing cooler air to flow over his body, and the outside temp is lower than 98.6, then he would be cooler than his average body temperature. Of course, if one of them is sitting in a vat of ice and the other is sitting in a sauna, then the person in the ice is significantly more cool.

Biology:
Then again, heaven forbid, one of these guys might have an infection and his immune system would shift into overdrive, causing his body temp to rise and create what we call a "fever". This happened recently to Tytus when he foolishly took a bath in the water-jet muck. Also, we see Arefin always has a lady-friend in his "who am I" pictures, and I would assume that his heart rate rises when he near one of these favored females. That would bump his body temperature up a bit. This action could be seen as nervousness, causing him to perspire a bit.

My conclusion is that it really depends on the situation.

A better question would be this: Who is cooler under _________ situation?

I *think* that we may have a way to determine this. Both Tytus and Arefin are coming to IRI. IRI has a talent show. It could be seen as a "talent" to remain "cool" under certain situations. These situations could be pressure, nervousness, anxiety, sadness, or glee. I say that we hook these two cool dudes up to a body thermometer and test them, on stage, at the IRI talent show. Within 5 minutes or so, we could put them through a simple series of test situations to see who has the lower average body temperature throughout the test.

Arefin, Tytus, are you in for this?

Does anyone want to serve as the "test creator" (this must be approved by Amanda Morrison & myself)?
Does anyone want to serve as the "administrator of the test" (the person who gives them these series of tests within 5 minutes)?

This could be fun.

Heres the pros and cons:

Tytus can stay cool under pressure while driving the 179 bot...but is he smooth with the ladies?
Arefin is smooth with the ladies but can he stand up to a different kind of pressure????

All these will be answered at IRI...this is worth the entire trip right here!

i have to say...

1) this is very hard to choose really in a way... i've know tytus longer than arefin but know arefin more than tytus..and i love them both

2) i really can't believe there is this poll

3) again i love them both dearly...life wouldn't be the same w/o them...

4) again this is really hard to choose!!!

5) they are really special in their own ways

6) again this is extremely hard to choose!!

7) i still can't believe i'm asked to do this...

8) i hope they both know i love them dearly and always will.. they are really great friends...i shall never forget them ever...

though... we can say:
Arefin yes is a ladies guy..and Tytus is a very good driver....

Well, I voted Arefin since I know him better...but I do think Tytus is extremely cool! =D

Well considering that Tytus' awsome driving skills helped us to advance far in Atlanta I'd have to give him the thumbs up. Plus Arefin owes me a shirt!

and Mr. Andy Baker once again proposes a solution to another problem. Sounds like a great idea. Now alls that is needed is some test ideas. Could be one test could be a few tests.
some ideas:
debug a hundred lines of code in one minute
take apart a robot drivetrain
.....
taking apart a drivetrain could be tricky especially with keyed shafts.
thank goodness we are using hex shaft now for our arm.

now i'm really mad i'm not going to IRI, i wouldn't want to miss this!

I think we should scratch everyone's plans...come to new mexico, and see if they can stand the heat and climb the mountain trail i went on (elev: 12,000 ft).

or...no...we could just proceed.

love you both =)
