FREE SLURPEES!

Today is July 11th so that means free slurpees at every 7-11 store! Today is special because it is actually the Slurpee's 40th anniversary, 40 years of keeping us refreshed. The free slurpee cups are 7.11 oz, but I still recommend getting one anyway (especially here in NY where it is currently very hot out).
(And yes, I did search to see if this topic already existed, but the only thing already there was 2 years old and I don't think anyone would bother reading the post then.)

That is awesome. My entire team loves slurpees after a 2 AM Slurpee run we made during the BEST build season. And we have a robot named slurpee.

I still have 15 minutes left of the day and 7-11 is about 2 miles away, but I'm in my pajamas and it would take me a while to get dressed and go there and they would probably be out already so....

needless to say, I'm probably not gettin' one today. :(

I'll go make up for it tomorrow and get one (and pay for it :ahh: ) and a Bawls or 2 as well.

Not a whole lot of 7-11's in Manhattan so I missed out.
Actually, Manhattan opened up a whole lot of them yesterday according to their website. They had been gone for a while but now they return in all their glory.

I fill up my 1.5L mug for $0.83 here at home, $0.87 at school. Great for late night study sessions. :D
