Anyone watching the webcast? Is it working? From here it looks like it's good but if someone can confirm that'd be great!

Does anybody know where I can find a match list? And is the scoring on IRI 2005 Live working, or is my computer not working right?

What did you select as your connection speed? Look through the options and see if you can find a page with connection speeds. Select the closest thing to your internet speed

I don't think the scores will be up on IRI Live any time soon. The webcast and webcam are all that are being offered at the moment.

What version of real player do you have installed? I have RealOne V2. i went to http://www.oldversion.com to find it. Also are there any other people using you connection, or somebody downloading something? those could be sucking up most of the bandwidth.

We hope to have the schedules and match results up this evening after the talant show and concert. Score system difficulties have prevented us from getting them up real-time.

A few comments about IRI-Live (http://indianafirst.org/irilive). Due to some changes in the scoring system that was distributed to the invitationals does not function exactly the same as the one we used during the season, the main difference we didn't expect is the lack of exported HTML of the matches and the rankings. We manualy were able to update the rankings last night. And now we have the rankings pre-elims but due to the massive amount of work it would require to put the live the match results we decided to drop that option. However i've already got plans for next years live coverage which will be even better.

I also apologize for the massive coverage of dan greens back.

and now i'm off to a krispy kreme eating contest...

Is anyone else experiencing a huge drop in audio volume after a match ends?

I can't hear anything, with my speakers turned all the way up, and then my ears get blasted once the match starts and the audio gets 10 times louder.

Is anyone else experiencing a huge drop in audio volume after a match ends?Yeah, the video quality is nice but the audio is making it really difficult to watch. Better than no feed at all I guess!

I think they're doing that to keep it quieter here in the auditorium in between matches... nothing I can do about it, sorry.

Nothing to be sorry for, it's great just to have the webcast! :)

Thanks for the awesome job.

thank you so much for having this webcast... it really made my day because i was bummed out because i wasnt able to go to IRI with my team. i randomly decided to go visit CD, and alas, at the top of the page, i see: "IRI 2005: webcast" and i was like... aslkdjwoire!! excited! so i tuned in JUST in time to see the final Finals match. :) it definitely made my day... thank you everyone who put together the webcast so we losers who are stuck at home and not having fun at the most awesome off-season event ever can at least be in on the action a little. :D

I did the IRI video coverage. There were multiple problems on Thursday night with the video system that audio didn't really get put together until Friday morning right before the matches for the webcast. When switching on and off of chroma key, the audio was taking dips. I knew this and the Wildstang guys did, also, I think. I did everything I could to regulate it but the way I saw it, it wasn't worth spending a ton of time on to try to work out the bugs. I really had no idea why it was doing that so it would have taken a great deal of time. The audio was there for the matches, which is the most important time for audio. I apologize for the dips, but with as much as I already had to deal with this past weekend, it went pretty well. And I apologize to any of the 30 or so people who were still watching the webcast during awards. We weren't really doing the video any longer, but I had kept it going just for the people at home. A cable I had been having lots of troubles with all weekend, finally really stopped working properly so I just shut it down. I did what I could with what all I had. :]

Thanks Jason and everyone for all the hard work getting the coverage up. I really appreciate it and was happy to deal with the audio just to be able to see coverage. Great job!
