HELP - We have no batteries!!

Is there any teams at Nationals that can loan T-Rx (Team 145) a battery? We couldn't take ours down with us. If we could get one each from a small number (2-4) of teams it would be tremendously appreciated! Stop by our pits in Einstein.

Why don't we have batteries, you ask? Long story. At the end of the New England Regional we did not think we had qualified for Nationals, so when we packed up, we decided not to pack the batteries in the crate and just bring them back with us. Two days later we were told that we DID qualify for Nationals, so we had to divert our robot to Orlando without the batteries. Then this morning Southwest Airlines would not let the batteries on the airplane and Fed-Ex would not ship them.

Any other suggestions? Your help is appreciated

They are very good about getting stuff to you next day. There may even be a warehouse in the Orlando Area. If not then try looking up Batteries in the phone book down there. This is a pretty common battery for safety lights. (i.e. illumination at power failure.) There should be some in Orlando somewhere.
