This is an idea me and some of my teammates kicked around for some time about having a first get together at 6 flags. It started out as teams from the NY/NJ/PA tri-state area going to a 6 Flags Great Adventure day in either the Spring (after the competitions) or in Fall. How ever that began to loose interest and it lost backing from the rest of the team. the original forum post can still be found (with my recent update here (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33257) )
But now i am doing this on my own and am not only seeking your support in starting this but proposing my new idea. I was thinking instead of a day where local teams just get together and hang out at the park we could use it as a chance to introduce new teams and other non firsters by setting up a field on one of the stages and holding a competition. that way we show them what its like during the season and we all have fun. and of course nothing is stopping teams from outside the NY/NJ/PA tri state are from coming if you want to make the trip, all are invited. In terms of tickets for anyone interested i would be buying bulk so they are cheaper.
For more information you should now contact me, Alex Burman at AlexBurman@gmail.com
any help you can give to this would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Alex Burman
