Remo typically makes drum heads, so I'll go with Yamaha. They make a lot of drums.

Don't use cotter pins. Use a paper clip, and wrap it through the posts and around a few times. If they come off, eh.. much easier to replace - and cheaper.

Plus a paper clip is so pliable that you can put them on and take them off no problem.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a Pulse Pro 5-Piece Lacquer Drum Set.

Are you talking about the clips that hold the body on? If so, those aren't cotter pins. They are hitch pin clips. I've popped them off only very few occassions. If they pop off too easily, you can get stiffer ones. The traxxas ones are probably the weakes I've seen. Go to your local hardware store (not Home Depot, anywhere else should have them) and you get get some stiffer ones. They aren't too expensive. Paper clips can only bend back and forth a few times before they break, and I think it would be ugly.

I'm pretty sure their cotter pins, but I have gone to the hobby store and I bought alot more. And the answer to the drum set question is.... mapex. yup 5 piece mapex pro M series in cherry red :) .

So, go to your hardware store and buy some more "hitch pin clips" that are made of thicker wire. If need be, you can also drill out te body mount holes a little bit for a little bit thicker wire clip :)
