I was just wondering what bands you would consider emo and if you consider yourself emo.

Eugenia and I had this same conversation the other night about me being emo and all. I like The Postal Service, Dntel, TBS, and Dasboard confessional. Probably more music but i don't feel like looking in iTunes right now. I have been to one of Dashboard confessionals concerts back between 8th grade and freshman year. I never heard the term emo before till about a year or so ago. During freshman year though me and my friends had a different term. We called ourselves romantics.

Wilshire is indeed very emo, but it's OK
Emo is a trendy term, don't get stuck on it
I like some emo bands, but I don't consider myself emotionally unstable.
Well Wilshire isn't always emotionally unstable...:P :P :P


(Just so everyone knows Wilshire and I are friends. He makes fun of me too because I wear socks with sandals sometimes. I'm learning John!)

she is learning soon she may even start to try on clothes instead of just looking at them and saying that the will fit. :D I don't consider myself emotionally unstable at all. anyways yeah eugenia is quite the character and definately isn't emo. I beleive the other night she called me an emoromantic.

Oh my gosh. This thread made me happy to see.

I dont know if i have many friends that aren't stereoypical "emo kids" or "hardcore kids" (which have basically morphed into emo.)

Oh wow, um, emo bands? Haha, i could go on forever.
