does anybody know of any places to get a LCD touch screen for a computer, multiple places will be helpful to compare prices

also, with a touch lcd screen for the computer would the touch part of the screen act as a mouse? and for these is there a special way to hook them up?

my team is going to begin working on a FIRST Kiosk to put in our sponsors building, many details are yet unknown.

you can get anything you want at Alices Resturant
(or else on ebay :^)

ebay is a good way to search and see whats out there - manufacturers and model numbers - and if you have an ebay account you can search on the stuff that is sold to see how much they are going for.

Touch screens for monitors or LCDs act pretty much like a mouse pad superimposed on the display

about the same as a PDA screen

My team has a touch screen kiosk. We got our toucscreen from a company called infotouch. basically we displayed an interactive flash on it. I do believe that the touch part acted like a mouse. I didn't get to work with the kiosk too much. If you have any questions, pm me.
