Who's planning on attending? I'm hoping to meet some more CDers that I've only "met" online... it should be a great way to network with the other area teams.

Team 237 was asked to give a presentation of some sort.
I'm not sure if we have commited to it yet, but it does seem like a fantastic opportunity for us to pass along some knowledge to the new class of FIRST, and also learn some new tricks ourselves.

Who says you can't teach an old team new tricks? :yikes:

I'm attending! I'll be presenting on team financial management - fundraising, targeting sponsors, managing your sponsor relationship so that they keep sponsoring, and getting started at becoming a 501c3 Organization.

Hope to see you there!

I was able to get in contact with the coordinators of the event and they will allow teamless people in, you still have to pay for lunch though.

Hope to see you there Jess.

Thanks to everyone who organized this event! I had a blast today listening to the presentations. http://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/9.gif There was some really useful information there! I also enjoyed doing the Vex presentation with my father about my Vex Robot (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39631). I also liked meeting the other New England CD'ers like Andy Grady, Jessica Boucher, and KathieK. Thanks everyone!

Glad you had a good time! I also enjoyed meeting with everyone. I wish we'd had more time to continue the discussions - there's never enough time to network with other teams outside of competitions.

Hope to see some of you at Bash next week!
