Is anyone attending this event this year? It looks like a great way to get involved with other people that are interested in different types of robotics. From the looks of their website, it will be a pretty neat expo, with some conferences as well. Plus, its not too expensive if you just get an expo pass. I bet its a really great place to discuss FIRST!

Some local teams were trying to get a little FIRST thing going. I don't know who took charge of it. I'm a little fuzzy as to whether it is going to be a game or someone just got us a display area. Last I heard though, whatever was being planned went through and 1351 is going. I have no idea who else is going. I'd also have to double check to make sure my information is accurate. You miss one meeting and you're completely out of the loop...

I do know that FIRST had a whole playing field there last year.... No idea bout this year. However, if there is one- Team 114 would most likely love to go, depending on time/date.

1351 is bringing our robot. Apparently, FIRST has to share space with NASA. But we (my team) still don't know if there's going to be a competition field.

I didn't even know that there was going to be another RoboNexus until just now. 114 was there last year, but I think the reason we didn't here about it is because FIRST isn't sponsoring it this year.

Does anyone know if it's too late to join? It probably is, but last year was so fun I think the whole team would enjoy going again. There were tons of cool exibits, especially those little swarmbots, they were so cool.

Alright, there's 3 FIRST teams going: 1351, 254, 670?. There will be one team each day. 1351 is scheduled for Saturday, I don't know about the others. We will be sharing with NASA. The booth/area/whatever is right at the main entrance on the left side when you enter. It doesn't look like there will be any room to operate the robots, much less have a mini competition.
