For those of you who saw my previous post(and those who didn't) and will be at Kettering this weekend, the EventLink system I previously announced will be available, with one major change. In order to support a wider range of client hardware, as well as increase overall system security, the system has been moved from a Visual Basic 2005 app to a web-based system. Therefore, any machine with a wireless network card and a web browser will be able to access the system. More details on the features of the system will be posted tonight...

But the thing we downloaded, the "windows installer 3.1 EULA" is still good, right?

It will still come in handy, as it is the newest version of Windows Installer, which would get pushed to you eventually through Windows Update. It is no longer needed for EventLink, however.

Beth, since this system is now web-based, nothing needs to be installed. You already will have everything you need on your laptop. This system will be accessed as you would any web site through your internet browser.
Should you need any help, I'm sure I could give you a hand if you stop by 67's pits. ;) As an alum, you're always welcome, as is anybody.
