Found this article. Read the part about who influenced them the most. Here is the link (http://animalplanet.discoveryeurope.com/aunz/web/20050722discoverychannel/mythbusters/feature3.shtml)

OMG how hard is it to spell Kamen? Not even the Discovery Channel can take the 2 seconds to make sure it is right. ADAM: Marcel Duchamp, Artist; Richard Feynman, Physicist; Dean Kaman, Inventor; Rene Magritte, Painter.

People are dumb.

Awesome that there was some mention of Dean in the article.

I think a call from Dean to Adam is in order for a guest speaker for sure now, going by who everyone wanted to be a speaker at events.
This may be the link that makes it happen right here in this thread.
Awesomeness.

But.. oops.. they spelled Dean's last name wrong.. (hopefully)
I say hopefully, because it may just be some other person named Dean Kaman!?!?
Nah.... blasphemy. What was I thinkin'? lol

No way guy, he's deserving enough to make a showing at the Championship.

I can see it now...

"This week on Mythbusters, we will test the myth that you can stand upright with only two wheels. Also, can Dave Lavery fling a car to Mars with only his mind? Finally, is it possible to fit 1000 pins on a single vest? Find out next."
