Which is taller? The student or the stack of boxes? The answer is they are the same height. This is a good example of forced perspective. The student is actually 20 feet behind the stack.

STRETCH! AND 1 AND 2 AND 3.... NOW THE OTHER ARM!
Due to the students lack of endurance during nationals team 222 has enacted its own exercise program. It was comprised of Box Stretches, Tetra Weight Training, and Pizza Arm Flexes. On the whole it was not successful.

Amanda Morrison

Arefin Bari

The kid: Duuuuudddeeeeeeee ... you know why girls want me so bad? Cause my stack is big.

Brad: Stop dreaming... robot did that.

EricH
26-09-2005, 00:52
Amazing!!!! 222 built an ANDROID with artificial intelligence that actually looks like a human!! The only thing I can't figure out is, how it figured out how to build the stack higher than it could reach with its programming or lack thereof...

What do you mean the cieling is suspended by itself? I don't need this stack of totes to hold it up?

Dave Scheck

In an engineering breakthrough, it was found that blue totes were a valid replacement for steel supports.

Watch closely as this amazing robotics magician makes these 10 boxes disappear.
"Alakazam alaka. . . umm does any one know the rest of it?"

It's the newest thing in Disco accessories! At almost ceiling height, it can hold up your disco ball anywhere you go! And it makes the perfect centerpiece for any FIRST DISCO, as it is made from leftover non-damaged pieces from the 2003 game!

Get yours now, for only $100 per box! Thats a bargain, considering that it takes forever to find any unbroken boxes from 03.

KathieK
26-09-2005, 12:14
Student in charge of team travel: I think if we put one student per box they'll all fit into the shipping crate and we can save a ton of money on transportation to and from competitions...

Brad: I'm not sure that they'll all fit, but THIIISSS MANY should! That'll cover at least the drive team! And maybe the pit crew, too!

Rich Wong

Jack assured his mother that the "Bin Stalk" was safe to climb and that Dave the Giant is asleep at this time. He promises to return with more than just useless infrared sensors and obsolete drill motors.

Jimmy, the late, poor 2003 game tester. This photo was take back whent he bins were filled with cement to prevent breaking. His death led to it's removal, but lots more bins.

Ian Curtis

Able to scale a giant tower of bins at the speed of light, it's a SUPER DAVE! (http://www.factorfantasy.com/thedavegallery/photos/superdave.jpg) wannabe.

Although Brad's underarm odor worked simply and effectively (not to mention amazingly) as a tote stacker, team 222 decided that it fell under the category of "hazardous material" and would not be allowed on the robot.
