My background image is a picture of a watertower that I found on a computer at the local community college. I messed with the color and things and came up with the background.
The calendar is a program called Rainlendar. (http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/index.php?pn=projects&project=rainlendar) My huge ToDo list is also there.
I also try to keep my desktop icons somewhat organized.

The desktop picture is from the vacation I took this summer in Hawai'i with my family to visit and meet my Hawaiian ohana (family) for the first time. We were there for two weeks. The picture I took is from the island of Molokai looking at the island of Lana'i.

(Cows are pictures from the Ritchie Farm :] )

If anyone gets the reference, post. :)From here (http://www.venganza.org/), I assume? (Some sort of pirate fish, apparently...what that has to do with the FSM, I don't really know.)

From what I can tell, it's a rip off of the Christian Fish that people commonly adorn their cars/trucks with.

Yes, the FSM originally created in a letter to the Kansas school board. The guy now gets over 3 million hits a day. www.venganza.org for more information.

Yes, it's a reference to the FSM.

FYI, FSM people are called Pastafarians, spread their message in full pirate costume, and belive that heaven has a beer volcano and a stripper factory.

The More You Know

Yeah, someone showed me it and I loved that background image.

*note* I'm a practacing Catholic, but I love a good parody. No offense is made toward religion.*end note*

JVN's current work background brought to you thanks to the boredom of Travis Covington and FRC Team 968. I loved this picture so much since it was posted, it has been one of my backgrounds ever since (I cycle through a few of them.)

Gotta love the flaming Dog-Gears...
(I cropped out part of my dual screen.)

This is my current background for my desktop. A friend took this picture, I think it was near Great Barrington in New England.

I use a program called Sphere XP as my desktop. It takes some getting used to, but it's pretty nifty. This is an image from the Hamar site, but it's pretty close to how my computer looks on a regular basis:

I change my picture about once a month. Right now is a shot I took from the back of a train while in Alaska. Nothing special, really, but I like it.

Well... the image changes every day, but this is by far one of my favorites. (the one with Stewie of "Family Guy" has far too many swears to be posted here)

And no, "Cancer 2" is not a cruel nickname for my external harddrive - my brother used to use it at UW Madison in the breast cancer research lab that he works in. I was simply too lazy to change the name.

I've had the same background since the start of last build season. This is the laptop I use in my apartment. At work, my background is a photo of a China Airlines Boeing 747.

I changed my background because someone complained my train track one was giving him motion sickness... so I now have another picture I took in Alaska (I'm sure vertigo will be the next complaint)
