Rukus was great. I want to thank the X-CATS for letting us use their extra robot. Congradulations to the Chapions. Rush Henrietta had a great time and we will try to be at the Reginal.

BTW. Who name the RH team? We have been trying to figure out how we got the name. (We do like it though :) )

Boy what a GREAT time we had. For those who missed it you missed a lot. JVN was a rookie MC and did a great job, A new team with a borrowed robot, arm MIA after some tough matches was on the winning alliance. Great sportsman ship and camaraderie through the comp. I'll be back next year. I was told that Ruckus will return Halloween weekend 2006. Put it on your calender now.

That new team from from School Without Walls showed a lot of character. When their robot let out the magic smoke before the tie breaker in the quarters I was thinking - "Here we go again - more outrageous fortune!" But they man-handled the arm back into a fixed position and became the alliance bulldogs - well, maybe ankle biters was more like it - but they clogged the other end and let 229 and us go on a rampage in ours.

All the teams, the crew, and especially the refs were awesome. The fun events today were a blast. We'll be back!! :) :) :)

I'm Glad everyone had an awesome time this weekend. For the limited resources we had evreything pulled together nicely (even after we had 2 stressful moments with the field controll system). This event definitely helpsbring our local FIRST community more together by developing new relationships.
Thanks again to all who volunteered and participated in this inaugural event! We'll see how everything else goes and what the planning for the next event will bring in 2006.

The Karoake and the pie in the face fundraiser was also enjoyable.

Well I think the last few posts say most of what I would say, but I just want to Recap:

Winners: 229(finally!! :)), 1213 (glad the long trip was worth while), & School without Walls (Look out for this rookie group joining team 1567!).

And it was great to see the rookie vs rookie in the finals matches!! We hope our new schools (SWW & Rush Henrietta) had a great time.

And a HUGE thank you to all the volunteers, and most especially the Ruckus committee. We turned a dream into a reality, and it was amazing how smoothly it all went!!

Look out for us Oct 28-29 2006!!
