SSETI ON THE WEB (http://sseti.gte.tuwien.ac.at/WSW4/index.html)

The SSETI spacecraft ESEO, European Student Earth Orbiter, is a micro-satellite designed, built and operated as the first SSETI mission by the European students working in the network of participating universities. In addition to the satellite platform, the whole system consists of the payload carried by the spacecraft and the associated ground segment.
Students from twelve different European countries are participating in SSETI. They are building the first pan-European student satellites together. They are all united by their desire to 'launch the dream' - and ESA's Education Office gives them full support.

CNN reports that the launch was successful:

really great stuff

really lousy acronym/name

from what I can tell by their website, SSETI has nothing to do with SETI!
