FIRSTCast: Announcements

Hey everyone, we at FIRSTcast have an announcement for all of you.

We've been a bit bombarded lately with guests and people who would like to be on the show, so since we're creative people we want to try something new. So are you in a specific FIRST related project? Do you want to get more people involved? Would you like to reach out through FIRSTcast? If you said yes then here’s our new strategy for out reaching to the ever growing field of you. Record a 30 second to 1 minute segment about your project/story/question and email it to firstpodcast@gmail.com We plan on playing only one maybe two per show so get creative with it.

Here’s a suggested way of recording it

Get an outline (we always have one) also we want to hear you get creative
Get a program like Audacity (it’s free) to record in
Export it as an OGG or mp3.
Get it to us, email, ftp, however.

Most of all though, have fun with it. We're spreading 2 joys here, the ever growing world of podcasting (it's here to stay) and of course FIRST. Feel free to do a commercial for anything, news, off seasons, organizations. If it's FIRST related, we'll take it 9 times out of 10.
