We need users (who want to of course) to start generating pages. As you guys know, Wikis are user-run, so we need users to start in.

With the somewhat lack of use and page formation on FIRSTWiki, I'm interested to know what you plan to do differently to make this one more successful.

wikipedia is the best and it's a good way to spread the word about FIRST.

There's one way to change that.
I don't see how FIRSTwiki is so fatally flawed that we have to abbandon it and start over.
Be Bold! Edit mercilessly. Impove a stub. Look up you're favorite aspect of FIRST, and see how the content is. Make it something that Dave would call pimp. Help improve an article. Maybe eventually, even FIRST will recognize it and mention it at some point.
If you have any qustions about it, feel free to ask me.

Might I also suggest that if you keep it you protect the main page of your wiki? (or only allow logged in users to edit it). I just went to the page and was greeted with an angry message containing a profanity... (I've reverted that change with the history... but, it certainly wasn't a very good first impression).
That being said, I agree with the previous posters that already existing wikis (like FIRST Wiki (http://www.firstwiki.org/) or to a lesser extent Wikipedia) are better suited to serving the FIRST community in general (though, for TechnoKat specific or local information it may be useful for everyone to have editorial control).

It's hard to tell how many people use the FIRSTwiki, since most that do don't modify anything. I use it often, but the only thing I've modded is the outdated information for my team. I also use wikipedia all the time and the only thing I've done there is add the withdrawl symptoms (from personal experiance) to the caffeine article. The only real problem with the FIRSTwiki's level of use is a lack of knowledge of its existence. I learned about it from someones sig, but have seen very few that have it there since. (Although that may be because I'm not looking) But, I do like the idea of locking the main page.
