Q&A Forum Screwed Up?

As some of you may have noticed, the Q&A link available here (http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/2006/qa.htm) no longer links to that monochromatic password-protected script like we saw last year (http://www.usfirst.org/frc/qas/index.lasso?-db=web_frcqa.fp5&-lay=web&-format=main_menu.htm&-error=error.htm&-view).

Instead, we find outselves at a phpBB subforum (http://forums.usfirst.org/forumdisplay.php?f=23) of the larger FIRST fora.

Now, at first, this was very open--anyone could sign up and post.

But then all the threads were deleted, it was reorganized, and now my account can't post there. And yet there is no place to sign up, or enter a special password.


Notes:

Anyone may view questions and answers within the system without a password.
In order to submit a new question, you must have the Q+A System password for your team. Only those with a special team username and password can post questions to this system. This username and password has been sent to the team's Main Contact. It is NOT the same as the TIMS password.


Now I'm fairly sure my main contact (my dad) hasn't been emailed yet. And no other threads have been posted in the forums.

So is anyone posting successfully? Am I crazy?

There was a FIRST e-mail that went out yesterday around 10:30am regarding this change. As you said anyone can read the Q & A but only a team's main contact person or "team rules expert" may access the q&a to post questions. There was a password given as part of the e-mail. But it was requested that this password not be shared on open forums such as Chief Delphi. Your team's main contact should have gotten this e-mail.

HOW TO ACCESS THE SYSTEM
FIRST is currently working to correct problems with this system and thanks you for your patience. In the next few days, FIRST will provide each team with a unique username and password. Once you have this information you will be able to access the system at http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/2006/qa.htm.

HOW TO USE THE SYSTEM
Please do not share or post your username and password outside your team. We must also ask that only adults use the system, no students please.
