is there a way to use the large CIM motors without the belt system? We removed the belt tensioner and are unable to remove the belted gear from the drive shaft.

I did notice Andy has an item for sale (http://andymark.biz/gear-puller.htm) that should do the trick, although your team might already have access to a similar gear pulling tool.

The sprocket on the "large" CIM does have an adhesive, and does comes off with a press.

We managed to split the pulley off with a chisel. I know this sounds harsh, but the pulley was very brittle, and split with very little force.

Many times the old ways are best, grasshopper.

Here's a twist...
Does any one know of a (hopefully not too expensive) source for the other pully and belt to go with it?

Also, how do you mount the sucker? There are no unocupied bolt holes in the frame of our motors! I was going to try t track down one of the Fisher Price scooters to look at their intended mounting, but no luck yet.
