Sponsers: Whats the best way to pick THEM up?

How do you go about picking up sponsers?
Success stories? Sob stories?

Our main sponsor came about from me talking to a store owner, who gave me the chain-owner's card...I sent him an email and called him...and bang we had one...

One thing our team is doing for 2003 is we're putting together 'Sposorship Packages'. It uncludes:

- A letter from the team captain (me...lol :))
- A CD with a bunch of videos, pictures, etc from 2002.
- Testimonials (they work wonders)
- Sponsorship Info about the '02 sponsors
- Benefits of sponsoring the team

Also, one thing that companies LOVE is seeing a robot drive around their offices...Drive in w/ ur bot, ull drive out w/ a cheque.

Also (x2), GET STARTED EARLY!!!...Like now is the time to be getting your '03 sponsors...
