on the power side of the victor. not outputside. or w/e they labelled them. the vfans should be spinning all the time there is power to anywhere on the robot.

Just for clarification, the power side is labelled "V" and the output side is labelled "M".

Alex,
It is best to twist the fan wires before terminating them. Use "eye" type crimp connectors and since the wire is so fine, strip extra insulation and fold back the wires to double or triple the diameter before inserting into the crimp. Keep the wiring as short as possible so it doesn't catch on other parts or lay down on the top of the fan.

Thanks all, and just for my own pride, I'm not as ignorant as I might seem. I've been helping out for the past three years, I guess I just missed a few of the details.

Again, thanks a lot. I know that with pretty much any other competition I would have been flamed instead of helped. That's why I love FIRST.

We always hook all the fans together and plug them right into the breaker panel.
If one of your motors throws a breaker the fans will keep cooling the victor down. We've never had trouble, just another option.
