I have VEX Robotics Kit and Programming Kit sold by Radio Shack. I think that I have version 0.5 of EasyC program. Is it possible to upgrade to version 2.0 of EasyC program?

Version 2 is not a free upgrade. You would need to purchase it, if you are not affiliated with a FIRST Vex Challenge team.
For teams registered with FIRST to compete in Half-Pipe Hustle, the mentor can contact Intelitek to get one free upgrade, and additional upgrades may be purchased at half-price.
I'm not aware of any other discounts for this upgrade.

I don't belong to any robot teams. I thought that Radio Shack or VEX Labs will sell the EasyC upgrade. If Radio Shack or VEX Labs doesn't sell the EasyC upgrade, should I buy it from its developer?

EasyC is a product of Intelitek. Their single user upgrade can be found here. (http://shop.intelitek.com/catalog/)

Jeff,
Check out the Vex Competitions (http://www.usfirst.org/vex/events/) being held around the country.
The March 10 competition at Hartford, CT is close to you. If you have an opportunity, check it out. Watch for posts from Skimoose and KathieK; they'll get the tournament website URL posted.
Our tournament (Newark, DE) is tomorrow, and we're about 1.5 hours away.

I ordered the EasyC V2 upgrade from its publisher. I can't go to any competitions because I don't have a car and I can't drive a car. I'm 49 years old.
