"RTX Runtime 5.5 is not installed" or someting to that effect... Please disregard this message. RTX is a real-time extension made by a company called VenturCom (now called Ardent or something) that VISA supports. This is not something you want to be installing, nor do you need to be concerned about.

I am also getting this error
"Property Node in VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr).vi->CMUcam2.vi->CMUcam2 GUI.vi"
which i saw in the other thread which said make sure VISA was installed + i just re-charged the back up battery and it is now fully charged...

I am also getting this error ... Yeah, NI-VISA still isn't installed. Are you installing from the Driver CD or are you installing from the NI-VISA download? No matter, DO NOT select to install RTX support in the Driver Selection screen. This should be off by default (meaning NOT INSTALLED), unless you happen to have something that looks like RTX in your system. In the installer, make sure you do not have "RTX Support" as an install item, make sure it has an "X" on the icon before its name. The same goes for LabVIEW Real-Time support, there is no reason why you would need to install support for either of these.
