Out of curiosity, how many Daves are on your teams? There 3 on mine alone.. maybe we'll have to start a Dave Alliance if theres enough of us... hah...
Don't you realize that there really is only ONE Dave? All the individual "Daves" that you think you know are really just part of a large communal creature that share a hyper-dimensionally linked common mind. We/I exist among the mere mortals in an effort to teach the philosophies of:
- a pursuit of excellence in everything you do,
- a never-ending quest to increase knowledge
- a constant desire to support the greater good
- teaching by example
- a continuing practice of tounge-in-cheek speak

We only have one Dave...But Dave is one of my middle names...I dunno if there are other people with Dave as a middle name...
As for the whole assimilation business...Resistance is NOT futile...This is how one would resist: Name your kids something other than Dave. :)

Why does this frighten me? I know so many Daves that there are really no longer any Daves at all, they all have nicknames so I can keep them straight. You're NASA Dave, then there's Physics Dave, Vegetable Dave (he only eats vegetables), Michigan Dave, George's cousin Dave, Evad, etc...

no no no no no....Lavery is the only "Dave". Period Everyone else got to have a last name with it. We have a David on our team, but most people don't call him Dave (and even then only "Dave Laney." Never just "Dave"). Andrew is my bet for the most popalur robotics name. We have an Andrew and an Andy on my team, and next year i think my friend's hermanito Drew is joining too. How many Andrews?

A bunch of the adults have same first names, but we call them all by their last name anyway.
We have a lot of people with the same last name, but they are all related. We have four or five sibling pairs on the team.

We have 2 Daves, one student & one adult. Last year, we had 5 Brians including myself! Also, we had 4 Mikes last year. Names are confusing.

No Daves on 45...... but we always have a lot of Kyle's on the team.... it kinda sucks but since i'm the oldest one i'll just have to make the other 2 change their names......... usually they just call me "Gilbert" or "twin" anyways so oh well.......
