hi, I was wondering weather anybody would be interested in setting up a halo competition in Atlanta for the robotics teams, if any one has any ideas please post.

Here is the format:

Single Elimination
Team Deathmatch
4 Man Teams (for all teams interested, one team per team)
4v4 random map
Time Limit/ Kill Limit based off how many team respond

Why Don't You just do round robin, Or why a tournament, just take a few consoles, and play :p. how many other people are going to want to go from one tournament to another? 8v8 Team slayer any one?

Team 1002 is up for it. There will be atleast 30 people from us that would love to play. We can provide a lot of Xboxes and controllers.

i've got a few friends that'll play halo, but we're at peachtree, not Nationals.

I'm surprised how many people are interested, the only problem is TV's and where to hold the competition .... if any one has any ideas that would be really helpful. also if every one can bring there xbox's and controllers and maybe a couple of those 8 way xbox linkers, that would be great.

i might make a one game appearence for that depending on if we get to Nationals and how bogged down our pits are. Though I don't think you guys will like me playing. I haven't been on Live for a while but I reckon I can still pull 50%or above with teh BR. :D

Halo2? or 1. If its 2, I have a few of my friends on Team 204 that will play. Were pretty decent. Im a legit 37, my friends a legit 42, my other friend is 29, and the other is 26

Also, you should maybe make some kind of award for the first and second place teams to show off in our pits :). Probobly get it so teams can play during their lunch times, and we just take like lunches 10 mins apart. We would get all the games in. And for championship match, robotics halts and the big screen gets devoted to the final match :ahh:

This sounds like so much fun, we are going to the Purdue Boilermaker regional, and then the West Michigan regional, I might be able to get in one at the West Michigan one, cause we are staying at our houses for the Boilermaker one. But if not, then send me an invite sometime to Wolfsin73. It's my mom's boyfriend's, but he doesn't use it much anymore, my little brother does though, but he kind of sucks at H2, he put my level on Big Team Battle down from about 14 to 9, so yeah, call me up, and we'll see how we stack up, just be sure to ask for the older brother.

I'll bring Halo 2, the update disk (for maps and update to 1.1, don't want anyone without the new maps or the update), my (original beefy) controller, and my mad rusty halo skills. (My xbox got stolen 4 months ago and I just got a new one, need to practice!) Also to do a 4 xbox system link we need a LAN hub.
