We just added it to ours. I think its working pretty good. Does anyone know another website with RSS news feeds?

http://www.google.com/ig does rss. You need an account though. If you need one, I can send you an invite. email me. murrowman@gmail.com

Our main page doesnt have RSS, but our gallery does. I've personally never found a reason why I need to use the RSS from any website. I also doubt my team even knows what RSS is.

Oh, sorry. I read right over 'feeds'.

We have an atom feed on our front page. It's sort of similar. It uses xml and we run it through blogger so its easier to update with news. My team can post things to it from home, by e-mail, or whatever.

It's been kind of barren, and as the site is in its first year and incomplete. I'm the coder, and I'm rather new at it. here it is (http://www.webhelpclassroom.net/robot)

If nothing else, it means you don't have to update the entire page.

Thats cool. Our website also has its own CMS ( Content Managment System).

You can get a few RSS feeds from ChiefDelphi.

Some are outlined on the 'Extras (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/extras.php?)' page (via the 'Quick Links' drop down up top)

You can also get an RSS feed of the new threads on the portal (theres links at the bottom). That RSS feed matches what forums you have the portal configured to show.

CD-Media will have tons of RSS feeds, as well. Media (both, or just photos or media) per tag, per person, etc.

The website for team 159 has an RSS feed of the news. Now the news is no longer on the front page, but you can still get the feed at the site here (http://www.alpinerobotics.com).

Cool feature, but useless. Everyone would love to have a RSS feed on their site along with a VoIP server and an IRC server/channel... oh, don't forget to throw in a podcast too!

heh, but seriously. the question to ask yourself is "am I using development time efficiently?"

elaboration: features are cool! but everyone knows it's getting down to the time where everyone's getting stressed out and pressed for time. Is the rest of the site finished? Do you have time? Also, effectiveness plays a role... do you really think anyone, outside of your team members / mentors / parents, are going to read / listen / chat on an IRC channel / podcast / RSS feed??
