DJ Requests

This being my third year in FIRST, and on chiefdelphi, this question has been lingering in the back of my mind so long I can't believe I haven't asked it before. Do the DJs at FIRST events generally take requests before competitions? I'm speaking of two kinds of request here:

1. Hey, could you play Kraftwerk's "We are the Robots"?
2. I have a 10 second sting that I'd like you to play when our robot is announced.

Are either likely to be considered? I'm more interesting in the second.

It depends. DJ's at Regionals are most often hired locally, so it depends on whether they like you or not :-P. Some do requests, and some don't. I've done both requesting a song and requesting an intro and gotten them played.
