AHA!!! Now it's starting to make sense....it just didn't seem very RAGE-like to only be able to hold 5 or 6 balls at once (especially with those awsome rapid fire capabilities)....and the previous pic had be confused with the mabuchi or FP in the front right corner doing what appeared to be nothing. I hope we can to see it play at Nat's!

do you have any problems with balls jamming in the hopper?

Looks very well designed. Now where is the "export to reality" button in the CAD software? :D (I have been looking for it for weeks).

I've been looking too... If only.
I really like the design!! Our shooter looks very similar to that, too! I'm sure you guys will do well!

Is it just me, or do both of the recent RAGE pictures make it look like you're using fish as wheel treads?

All joking aside, very nice looking 'bot...hope to see you guys on the field at some point.

It's a two step process. First, you have to export to MasterCAM, then to reality ;)

Very impressive, and pretty close to some other designs ive seen. If your shooter works nearly as well as 118's (or better, not sure if their's can adjust angle of release), we're all in for a treat while watching that puppy work!

Alright! I'm takin' that class this semester.
Then after that, it will be on to the final step.
Mass production, here I come!! :)

Looks nice! How many balls fit on the "queue" for launching them all at the same time? At least, that's what it looks like it does. I'm gonna guess around 6 or 7?!

Not MasterCAM
TOPS 100 Trumpf Laser CAM
Only alittle MasterCAM
Most of these pieces will be made tonight on the laser.

either that's an artifact of either the rendering or the image compression, or they're using some very funky wheels...
so i guess the conveyor belt and the shotter will be running the whole time?? and when you want to shoot the shooter speeds up..... thats a good idea

Inventor likes to angle rounded objects as you zoom out.

The wheels are normal skyway wheels.
There was a surface treatment added in solidworks to show groves in the rubber. Similar to surface treatments to show screw threads
