The camera had the lights on it, and we had just trouble shot it so it would follow the target. The lights on the camera went out and we haven't been able to power anything on the camera. We tried charging and checking batteries, reseting the electronics, reloading code and rebuilding the electronics on the camera. None of these worked and the camera is still dead. :ahh:
If anyone knows what is wrong it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Camera power switch turned on? (flip the switch if not)
Camera circuit board still isolated from the metal frame of the pan/tilt assembly? (fix it if not)
A working cable correctly connected from a PWM port to the camera power input? (plug it in if not)
A charged backup battery plugged in to the RC? (charge and connect if not)
Backup battery voltage present on the PWM port pins? (find and remove the speck of metal shorting between power and ground if not)

Checked all of those, still not working.
May have shorted the board.
Suggest other teams put a piece of rubber or equivalent material between the camera board and the mounting bracket.

The air gap specified in the gimbal assembly instructions is best.
The solder points on the back of the camera will poke through insulating material.
