Is it possible to short circuit the camera? we lost function on our camera after we plugged the port that is supposed to receive info with a pwm that gave it power, the other possibility we think is that we grounded the transmitter by putting the cable in upside down?

any help with this problem?

we had the camera working perfectly before it got plugged in the wrong way

Does it still turn on?

If soooo...

Try plugging the servos back into the camera and using the Camera GUI to send commands to the camera.

It is a possibility. One of my buddies was working with the camera and apparently plugged it in incorrecty, and we ended up with a burnt servo and a burnt camera. Check your servos. Fortunately, one of the local teams was not going to use a camera, so they donated theirs.

there is also an on/off switch at the top of the camera, can't tell you how many times that's been our problem.

Last years camera got fried. There was definately smoke and it left an awful taste in the air. If it smells burnt, it just may be.
