View Full Version : Scoring Question.
Is there a limit, by feet or inches, that you can be away from the corner goals when you shoot the ball?

I can be glib and say yes, negative 3 inches.
You are not allowed to extend more than 3 inches into the goal mouth, or else you will interfere with the ball counter. As I recall, the penalty is death (well, robot disabled).
59.9 feet.
(the diagonal dimension of the field - if you go any further, you are outside the field borders :) ). No, there is no maximum distance from which you can shoot for the corner goals (as long as you stay on the field).

Shall we start calculating how far a poofball can roll on carpet given a starting velocity of 12 m/s?
