I used to have every single one of those on my computer, and every icon I ever found of them, took up 5 gigs, then my computer decided it wanted to BSOD so it went by by.
Pretty great stuff.

Apparently, a lot of people don't like it.

Speaking of exploding:
There is a new FIRST team this year. Team 1902... their team name is Exploding Bacon. Looks to me like they have a tasty robot. (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?p=452104#post452104)
I wonder if they draw odd cartoons.

I'm thinking the quoted thread may have some kind of relativity to the Are Chief Delphi users thin-skinned? (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43847) thread.

In reality, I think most users just didn't realize that Sam Brown's artwork is totally irrelevant to FIRST, other than it features robots. I can obviously sympathize with those who were upset at the post, but just because they are ignorant about explodingdog doesn't mean they're thin-skinned. Taken out of context and applied to FIRST, yes, it seems like that could be the exact opposite of what the ChiefDelphi community (and the FIRST community, for that matter) has been trying to teach. Ignorance can spawn a wide range of emotions, good or bad. A forum like CD just presents more opportunities to do so.
I've been a fan of explodingdog and Sam Brown for years now. When I was in high school, I wrote and drew for a webzine that featured a Red Robot animation. I also enjoy Diesel Sweeties, which features Red Robot as a character. This (http://www.explodingdog.com/january2/minelife.html) is my desktop right now and I really love this (http://www.explodingdog.com/shirtorder/items/thinkingofyou.html), too.
Anyone else have a favorite drawing? I have a ton, not even worth linking to all of them.

hey Cody, thanks for sharing the link.
I have been surfing the website during my lunch hours, and the humor is excellent.
Ive been wanting to work on a comic strip for a couple years now, and I keep putting it off. Exploding dog is motivating me to start working on my own comics :^)
