conveyor belt materials?

what are u using? we are using the drawer liner material (non-skid stuff you put under carpets).
The main problem we have with this is that it tends to walk and bunch up on top of itself? any suggestions for keeping it from walking or bunching up?

Try sewing two layers of the drawer liner together. We haven't tried a full piece for a conveyor but the small piece looks promising. Surgical tubing may not be bad either.

Surgical tubing works exceptionally well as a belt material. You just have to put a few notches in your rollers and it won't walk at all. Also, it's much harder to rip.

Try changing the profile of the roller. A cylinder will let the belt "walk" freely, but if you give it a bulge in the middle (like a very skinny football) it will tend to hold it in place.

We used a belt from a treadmill. It fits perfectly and will never rip. We tried using sandpaper at first but it moved like mad

We thought about polycord, but ended up with rubber bands.
