so one day in math class the good ol argument, we'll never use this stuff in real life. I had o use good ol' tangent to find trajectories of the CMUCam. my math teacher did the good ol' "told ya so". lol that was fun.

This is exactly why FIRST is important. If everyone saw the practical applications of the things they were being taught in math and science, there'd be a whole lot more mathematicians, scientists, and engineers.

I had a simmilar discussion, We were talking about integration and some one said that we would never use it. (I thought it was one of the more useful things I had learned in math) I brought up using a gyro on the robot.
