W00t! The chains of responsibility are lifted as the animation is done!
I hope everyone else out there is enjoying the freedom like I am!

Although my team still needs a robot...

Oh well, here is the 1086 animation (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2791702239202545472)

I can't wait for competition!

1489 AVA2006 (http://media.putfile.com/1489-AVA-2006)

Uses Cinepak codec

The interpretation is *very* abstract, and probably mostly meaningless without the storyboards explaining it, unfortunately :( The title is important to understanding it though - simply, draw inspiration.

Wow. That is outstanding. I love the animation of the camera and the biker - not to mention the great texturing and lighting. Awesome.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!! YOU MUST WORK FOR FREAKING PIXAR!!! That was AMAZING! You are my newest idle. I shall make a sanctuary of your talents with a ABC gum statue of you in the middle and worship it every other 3.24 1/2 day.

But with all that aside the bicycle dudes pants verities cross.

Teamsville - Where Dreams become Reality.

The soundtrack is an original composition by one of our animators and recorded at a studio.

Also, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but does Autodesk give each team a new set of licenses/new copies of 3ds MAX and Inventor every season?

Yes you receive at least one new copy of each every year. I am not sure if they have made more accessible or not to each team.

All I can say is wow. These animations are all great. Remember it’s great to use the snazziest textures, lighting particle arrays and everything else like that. But what the judges at nationals look for most is the message! So no matter how well you believe that your animation turned out, be proud of what you have done. Trust me it is truly amazing and is only a stepping stone to becoming a great animator in the future.

For various reasons Team 85 did not do an animation this year. However, my brother's team did one good enough to win at the Arizona Regional. 1164-The Other Side (http://www.projectneo.net/first/?Animation)

Wow. I like that storyline. It's so similar to ours it's scary. :)

Here's our storyboard (http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/9289/0868storyboardava20063fl.jpg) and animation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgWXiplYnLM).

The compression is unfortunately a terribly low quality, it's hard to make out some of the details. I'll probably upload a better one later.
