It would appear that teams 2 and 3 have left the competition, at least for the time being. Team 53 looks to have competed as recently as 2004, possibly sitting out the 2005 season (according to Wiki). I know a lot of teams have to drop out or merge because of money issues, lack of mentors, or lack of students. Sad but true...

Because we already had a 15 page thread asking about team 1 and we all must know who the top 3 teams are (by number anyways :p ) :rolleyes: .

I believe 53 was "Singled Out" because they were a regional winning team last year. Teams 173, 1027, and 53 were on the winning alliance of Chesapeake. Also looking at the thread creator's location 53 was a local area team.
