Ya know,

I was just thinking, You Dont appriciate TV shows until the series ends....

For Example:

I never watched Seinfeld, but now i watch it every night on another station that plays re-runs, I never really got interested in it, but now i think its great. An Cheers is another good one.

Although my favorite TV Show ever would Probably have to be "Married With Children"

So how about you guys, what TV shows do you miss and what shows do you watch now that they are off the air?

BTW Abi, What was Jem??

Jem was a girly cartoon in the 80s. It was about this chick who had an alterego named Jem. Jem was the leader of a band called Jem and the Holograms and their rival band was The Misfits. I thought it was the greatest show ever when I was little. I had the Jem barbi-doll, Jem music tape, Jem halloween costume ........

Suike
19-05-2002, 23:24

jk2005, the show with the dolphin was called Seaquest DSV, and suike, i thnk the show you're talking about was Stingray, but there were three or four shows like that...and how did i miss David the Gnome???

Also, some anime show called Ronin Warriors back when I was in sixth grade...and Voltron...

And does anyone else remember ExoSquad?

...more to come

Ben Mitchell
20-05-2002, 06:20
I remember Exosquad. The show was interesting because some of the stuff they brought up - love, people dying, etc. were NOT kiddie tuff, it was more of an adult cartoon (at least, that's how I remember it).

I watched it for a while before they pulled the plug:(

My all-time favorite is still David the Gnome, though, that show was awesome!

i love sinfeld, just the sheer idiocy of it makes me laugh, and Spin City (the old one's with Micheal J. Fox). I can't believe they are cancelling it. It isn't the actors' faults. it's bad writing. they refused to change the role of deputy mayor as a new person came in, they just wrote in a different name in the script. how pathetic.

Harrison
21-05-2002, 15:53
Spin City use to be really good...I'm glad around here all the stations still play the ones with MJF...The new guy sucks.

If you have Digital Cable, you'll be amazed at the shows you watch, saying "This is a great show" only to realize they only made about 2 seasons of it and is 15 years old...

As for old shows, I can't beleve you forgot this one....

Monty Python's Flying Circus.

I don't remember the slide but I do remember the Pressure Cooker, and I also remember that they were sponsored by Gitano clothing company. The only reason I remember that is because my dad used to make fun of how the announcer said "Gitano and Gitano kids" in a squeaky voice!!

Hey remember Team Knight Rider and Viper?? Those were two more great shows!!

There was a show called 'Out of This World' (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0092423)

This girl had an alien dad who called her on some orb type thing.
She could stop time by putting her index fingertips together, and then clapping once to resume time.

Probably one of the most memorable, and one of my favorite scenes on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air strictly because of the comedic value.

I'll have to practice that version of the dance to that song for competitions this year. :yikes:
Now I just have to find someone to throw. LOL
