At our school we have a cafe that we eat at for lunch and luckily since its partly a adult technical school to they have classes there from like 5-9 pm so around 5 they open up for dinner and everyday we usually eat there, they serve chicken sandwiches burgers and salads and stuff like that and really good fries to. :)

Augie and Rays - It's a local burger and hot dog place. It's awesome. The best food is the kind you can see through a brown paper bag. ;)
Sun-Sun(chinese)
Moe's(Burrito's)
are the common foods eaten during build days and after 9pm it turns into coffee and whatever can be found open at the time
McDonalds Dollar Menu. 2 double cheeseburgers and a med drink for like $3.60ish, good stuff. Also we have parents make random dishes for students to bring in and share.
Pizza...and we are sick of it....we have gotten subs a couple of times.
i promise after build season im not eating any pizza for a long time!!
Though we generally stick to "normal" food, there is the occasional visit to Taco Bell or White Castle...the day after is typically a digestive disaster

Whatever is brought in. We have a local Brownberry distribution center that has a discount outlet so some parents bring in cases of "Little Bites" or loaves of bread. Other times, we take Little Ceasar's up on their neverending $5 per pizza special. On weekends, we often meet just after lunchtime to account for church services but some awfully generous parents have made chili or sandwiches for the entire team :)
On occasion, a few of the mentors and myself try to pick up a crate of clementines, apples, or baby carrots and a dozen bagels just because junk food gets to be a little much sometimes and makes everyone feel sleepy.

1547's school, Trafalgar Castle, is a boarding school so we eat the food that the boarders get. It's much easier and the food is good too. Some people on the team also bring in donuts from Tim Hortons or other snacks.
Unfortunately the food is so good that everyone eats a lot of it so we all feel like we need to go for a run afterwards :P

We meet within walking distance of "downtown Sammamish" (the Safeway shopping center), where there is a variety of food available. Some favorites (all on the same corner): Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Taco Time, Acapulco Fresh, Mongolian Grill, non descript teriyaki place, Domino's Pizza, Papa John's Pizza, Subway, and two different -- hey, this is Washington -- Starbuck's. We don't lack for rapid-prepared food on our team.

Before the beginning of Build my mom and a teammate's mom start calling all of the other parents and set up a food schedule. Each night a different member's family does dinner. In our first two years it was pizza every night, so having home-cooked meals is nice :) We get the odd family that just orders pizza, but most are things like lasagna, cassaroles, chili etc. The variety is awesome and the food is always yummy.

We don't really have a specified menu. We hold our meetings on my schools campus (our team has 3 school), and it is a mixture of Adult and HS students, during the day and at night, it's strictly night students, and the culinary students are the ones that make the food all day from breakfast to lunch to dinner, and they make great things for dinner...its never the same, we've have burritos, soup, pizza, chicken, pork, lamb, seafood, gourmet rice and a whole bunch of other stuff. It's pretty cool. But on nights like last night, when there were no adult students there, we just go to publix(it's a grocery store if you are unfamiliar) or the Chinese restaurant next door to the publix.

During the week and such we basically just grab the "chicken soup" from the vending machine, but on Friday nights parents provide a full meal :D

For our team, sometimes a parent will make dinner for everyone, but we usually have pizza and other snacks. :D
we only have meals on Saturday but we have had: pizza (they were surprisingly good):) , meat ball subs, homemade subs twice, and lots of snack food, and ESPECIALLY :) Mountain Dew:cool:

Team 1254 has homemade meals everyday. We put up a schedule in the mailroom (at school) and asked the staff if they could help provide meals. Many of the staff sign up, as well as team members and their parents, and the mentors. We have things like baked chicken and real mashed potatoes, homemade burritos, homemade soups, chili's (white and red), sloppy joes, spaghetti, nachos, roast beef/ham/turkey sandwiches, etc. We have only had pizza twice, when staff donated $$. We have had lots of desserts made as well as rolls. It is nice for the team not to have to worry about meals too much. I make sure there is someone signed up each day and if not I fill in. We are very lucky. :) :) :)
Our staff is very interested in our robot and when they bring meals they are always asking about it. This year we have had our ups and downs but are getting there. Only one student from last year was back this year (others all graduated). There are no 9th or 10th graders at our school.

Pizza, something + salad when someone makes us food, hotdogs and popcorn when there are games in the gym, and chocolate. Drinks... we usually drink water or capri sun because they are pretty cheap.
Parents bring food tuesdays and saturdays. The rest of the days are based around mountain dew and anything made in the microwave.

when god gives us luck we have pizza. On other days some parents give us greasy unedible food. but if we survive long enough without a heart attack we might one day be rewarded with subway.
Every night team #1577 has 3 parents cook food.
We have great food...
Every night there is a big variety...chicken, beef, pasta, rice, salads, desserts and lots of drinks (and of course...lots of undefines foods that taste really good but it's better not to ask what there made of :yikes:)
We only had fast foot twice...
All kinds.. I'm not picky. :D

We have parents that sign up to make us meals. We've had chicken paella, fajitas, turkey tacos, lasagna, macaroni and cheese and various ethnic meals. The family that makes the meal stays to serve it and they usually eat with us.

don't forget all the junk food we have on a daily basis afterschool and on weekends! and the occasional support on meals on saturdays... ;)
Pizza, Pizza and again Pizza! Sometimes a parent would bring something in (cake, pie, cookies, etc.)

We do an on and off lunch and brunch week. One saturday, we would have breakfast food (sausages, toast, waffles, etc...) and the following saturday, we would have lunch food (tacos/nachos, subs/sandwiches/salad, lasagna/garlic bread, etc...) Every saturday is like a pot luck. Parents contribute during the build season by the help of bringing in food for students, teachers, engineers, etc...

Team 114 is very lucky to have a host of loving parents - we've had dinners (often homemade, otherwise picked up from a non-fast-food-restaurant) every night that we stayed late except one during the build season. That night we all went out to dinner. Real food is healthier, tastier, and keeps us running much better than fast food ever could! :)

We normally have a team parent, which varies each day on a schedule, bring a lunch. This can range from Quizno's subs to deli sandwiches to the famous Tito's Tacos.
Food selection is pretty good down here.
On the other hand, another mom arranged for parents to buy snacks which we keep in the robotics/science room. This gamut ranges from snapple drinks to cheetos---that kind of stuff.

1701 are masters of the fast-food run. We've gten foodstuffs from a different joint most of the time. though Little Caesars Hot'n'Readys rule the countertop if you weer to count everything up. By quite a bit actually.
But, as others have mentioned, people like to bring in lots of other food. Some of our mentors areexcellent dessert cooks.
our parents volunteer to bring us homecooked meals every night. it's good food.
When we work we work we usually get Chinese food or tacos. mmmmm.

We wiped out the vending machines at our school. There's no food left after we're gone.
But most of the time (for me anyways) I'm so busy working on the robot and the web site that I often forget to eat!!
Forget the Atkins, Robotics is the best diet out there! :p

Eating....
Some members bring their own microwavable lunches but I usually wait until I get home to eat. I eat anything I find, unless I have the strenght to make something when I get home.
