There seems to be a mistake in p18f8722.h on line 1712 in version 2.4 of the C18 compiler. This error does not exist in other versions.

it reads INT3P:1;
it should be INT3IP:1;

This has been documented somewhat obscurely by Kevin Watson, I searched for the filename and found it here:

The corrected file is available from him in his encoder code I believe.
