S.P.A.M. team 180's scouting team has joined with the web site team to provide this year's version of the S.P.A.M. Scouting System for teams that do not have laptop computers to use and need a system to help them make strategies and pick teams for alliances in the finals. The latest version of the scouting sheet is provided on our web site and a tutorial is provided to teach you how to use the sheets. If you have any questions, contact me or submit a helpdesk ticket on our web site. Good luck to all teams in the competition.

The tutorial was made for an older version so a few fields might not be mentioned. Feel free to ask us questions. We suggest putting the sheets in folders to keep them nice.

We used spams poor man scouting system all weekend and it worked great! Helped us tremendously in the tournament play on saturday. Way to go guys.
This is a nice spreed sheet. The one we had for pittsburgh fell though so I may consider asking the team to see if they would want to use this one.

I am proud to say that S.P.A.M.'s famous scouting system just helped us to rank 1st at the end of the day Friday and 3rd for alliance selection at the Florida Regional. We then WON THE REGIONAL! My team discussed this and determined that we did as well as we did because of three things, our good defense, luck (that the robot did not break down), and our strategy/scouting information.
The first time a team uses this, it might not work perfectly. It takes time to perfect the system. My team is here to offer advice and tell you how to teach your team to use the system.
We did also use STAMP and compared information from each system. STAMP predicted how we would do in our last few matches. Some teams might prefer STAMP. Some teams might want to use both. We also used STAMP to help us with alliance selection.
