Well, it's time to start up the annual tradition.
Highest score so far (posted on FIRST site):
Q32 in New Jersey-
1228 33 pts
1279
1048
25 137 pts
486
225
The highest at VCU was 99, by teams 1731, 510 and 116. (116 was involved in the 3 highest scoring matches in VCU....and actually won two of them :p )

How about highest score in a match that wasn't a blow-out? A match where the winner won by fewer than -- say -- ten points? We were in an alliance at PNW where we won by 64-60.
VCU Qualifying Match 11 (http://www2.usfirst.org/2006comp/Events/VA/matches.html)
11106  that will be a tough one to beat.
What about highest in autonomous mode? 296 was in an alliance at BAE that scored 51 by the end of autonomous...

In NJ Final match 1, teams 25, 103, and 1279 scored about 66 points in about 10 sec.
They didn't score any points during autonomous (good defense) and spent their first offensive period (1st period) gathering balls. They were down by about 60 points during their defensive period (2nd period). At the end of their defensive period they set up a firing squad and at the beginning of free-for-all, they released a barrage of balls :yikes: They ended up winning like 78-75, exciting comeback.

That was just amazing when I saw it. It was the first time I had seen a team mess up 25's auto mode, and their alliance barely scored any points during the auto period, with the other alliance scorcing about 50 (Could be wrong, I have a fuzzy memory). After seeing how other matches played out, I thought it would be impossible to come back from a deficeit like that. But was 25, 103, and 1279 some combination to be able come back and score that many points in such little time! That was one of the craziest matches I saw all day. Great stuff...

I would not be suprised to see the high score broken tomorrow. Right now, I expect it to come from 1126's Elimination alliance, or one of the Triplets alliances in GLR.
With the small field at FLR, it seems more likely then anywhere else. If 1126 and partner can break away for a bit and score, the defenders might not have much to stop them with.
However, as week 2 is winding down, it is showing that scores tend to be much lower than first expected, and Triple Digit scores, only occuring twice this week, and a few last week.
Arizona high so far: 99, set by 987, 330, and another team (I don't remember the number. It was basically over after auto mode.

One match in the finals at Pittsburgh, our entire alliance went dead right after autonomous. By the time they stopped the match to figure out what was wrong, I believe our opponents had 66 points...1038 scares me. That's all there is to it.

Yeah, 1503, 1114, and 67 scored the 125 in the elimination rounds at GLR. The final was 125 - 25.
Great to hear a lot of other high scores throughout regionals.
Hmm..it's interesting..as the weeks progress, the scores go higher and higher. So far highest scores are 137 & 125 as I saw..it'll be interesting to see what the highest is at the end of the season!

Oh yeah. That kinda sucked, though it was good for you guys that they stopped the match. Do you know that 1038 did that all (to my knowledge) on dead reckoning? Amazing robot; I like how their wheel slowly spins down after a match. But they slide sideways pretty easy, if that makes you feel better!:D

The highest score in Detroit was I believe 117 set by our alliance (818,703,1602) //snip// Official results here: http://www2.usfirst.org/2006comp/Events/DT/matches.html
Q66, the last qualifying match, had the high score of 113, alliance 269/217/47. (Yes, the computer actually put that group together.)
In QF1-1 469/217/1506 scored 112. Your alliance scored 107 in both QF4-1 and SF2-2.
Those were the only triple-digit scores. The real-time scoring screen showed 175 for one of the above-mentioned 469 scores, before being corrected by human counting. I could tell that score wasn't going to stand up, because it jumped 60-80 points in just a few seconds.
Btw, congratulations for putting together a good alliance and advancing to the finals.

My alliance, earlier in the eliminations came the closest to beating that alliance though... (ignoring the one loss that was due to 1503 and 1114 both being de-treaded, so I hear)
111, 1625, and 1816 just scored 61 points in autonomous mode including the 10 point bonus against 525, 862, and 1732. It was amazing!!
scratch that, they just scored 71 in autonomous in the 3-2 round

Buckeye - about 73. It was very defensive out there.
In the elimination matches, with 968 and team 4, our alliance scored 100+ pts in 3 out of 4 matches. Twice back to back. I'll try to find some pictures of the scores.
In the Southern California Region team 968 and their alliances had three matches of 100+. About 80 or so points scored by the alliance and then bonus points for being on the ramp.
the high scores for them were:
93
100
103
109

No, only two were back to back there was another match in there before the third
anyways we had 103, 100 and 109 in that order
also, the only alliance to break 100 at the so-cal regional

Actually, we only scored 109 once. The 103 and 109 were the ones that were back to back as far as I can remember. Thanks to our alliance members 968 and 4 for helping rack up the points. I think one of the matches was 100 something ( not sure which one) to 21. It was a good day.

Any match with Wildstang in the alliance usually ended up having a score over 60.
