Possibly University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee...
Anyone gonna go to UW-Milwaukee or MSOE? Maybe hook up and get a team started in Milwaukee? It's surprising that they don't have one yet, for such a big city...

I'm heading of to the University of New Hampshire in a couple months now. GO WILDCATS!!!!! UNH Hockey is the BEST.
o killer deal dude! I'm going to Syracuse too next semester! Actually I kinda start in June cuz of Summer Start, u register for that too? That would be sweet!
But hopefully I'll have time to continue participation in FIRST cuz I'm going to be playing lacrosse and I doubt college level coaches will be as lenient as high school coaches, so here's hoping! lol <fingers crossed> Hit me up sometime, it'll be cool to know someone there.
Norwich Univ. in VT! And yes it is a military school.:)
I'll be attending the University of Delaware for Mechanical Engineering. [Using that handy-dandy ASME scholarship I got at Nationals.]
If anyone ...BESIDES LUCAS... is going there, I'd like to meet-up with you at some point. I hope to help with the racecar competition they do.
Along with FIRST and FLL of course.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY! GO NITTANY LIONS!
Hey everyone, register here... http://www.buzzu.org/cgi-bin/rollcall.pl It's a list of FIRST students and the colleges they go to.
Anyone else going to PSU? I want to become a mentor but, my old team is too far away, and there are no existing teams within a 1-hour radius of PSU. I may want to star a new team.

yes, we are very nice people...
quick, get the rope and a chair! oh wait, you didn't hear that :p
seriously though, if you come to 810, you'll have fun, especially when certain unamed teachers won't be able to do as much next year because they're not tenured yet. :D things should run much smoother.

You see, next year, I won't be near you, but this year I am. Notice that we are both in Philadelphia, PA.

haha...I'm such the opposite of everyone. I'm gonna be an ENGLISH (ok, so that may change to poli sci soon) major at UCLA in prep for law school. Go Bruins!!!!!! Go nice hot sunny weather. Hopefully it should be cooler there than 1/2 hour north of it, where I am...102 today. Hot!
Oh...and if anyone's from the USC team, we're gonna try to start one up across the street next year so watch out! Just some friendly competition of course.

Go Bruins!! (lifelong bruin fan). Anyways if UCLA wants to help out with a team, Oakwood School in North Hollywood could use a sponsor. We are still looking for our first (hehe). We did well at SoCal regional winning the Xerox creativity award. Just a suggestion if UCLA wants to have or sponsor a team.

Since chances are that if we get a team going I'll probably be managing it...which also means that my alma mater (and two other guys going to LA) Hart will probably get first dibs on money if they need financial support. But I'll remember to keep oakwood in mind, the guys with the hamster wheel right?

We would love the help, and we are a nice team but if you are gonna help us you will have to understand the intricsities of the keen area of BRUTEFORCE!
And uh BTW i don't think we will still be considered a "rookie team" next year;)

Hey everyone. I'll be attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the fall. I am all for starting a team there too! If you were in Florida, I hope you noticed the "Help me start a team at MSOE" sign that some members of Wildstang had. If all goes well, I think we have a good chance. I hope it works out. Good luck to everyone in their future studies!

Up here, in the Great White North, I'll be attending the University of Waterloo for physics (*gasp* what a surprise considering my login name  )
I'm mostly worried about getting to classes through the 5 feet deep snow, fighting off the wild polar bears, and making sure that my igloo doesn't collapse. ;)

mit as well as you could probably guess by my sn
Synthia--do you know anything about mit's FIRST team? i can't seem to find much information on them. apparently they are not spectacular, as they weren't at nationals... but, eh, one can't be the best at everything... What dorm are you staying in?
-christine
Christine,
To be honest, I don't really know much about their team either, other than having talked to a couple of people on it. They are really student-oriented and don't seem to have many (if any) engineers from their corporate sponsors helping to design and build. They were at the UTC regional and finished around 50th place. I'm definately going to join and it sounds like you're interested too.
Anyways, I'll probably be in Random Hall or East Campus (which is for some strange reason much cheaper). Feel free to send me an e-mail...
~Synthia
