i'm a nerd, but i'm gosh darn proud of it!!! erm...anyone have Magic cards they don't want anymore? red cards for a burn deck would be quite nice. ;) i'll pay money, but try not to rip me off! also, for anyone that lives near the sachem school district, want to play my friends and i? :D

They were so freakin' addicting... I mean, just go to the comic book shop and spend like 10 cents on the cheapo ones, 50 cents on the cool ones, and a buck on the uber-cool ones. I think I still might have a slammer gathering dust somewhere that said, "OJ's still in the SLAMMER!" Oh, we're so children of the early 90's

ahh, serra angel, one of my favorite combos. I remember I used to put a sengier vampire and, oh, what was it... a black spell that costs one swamp and adds three swamps to your mana pool... grr, forget the name. Anyways, I had a deck with 4 sengier vampires and 4 of those cards right next to them. Usually I got one after the other, so like 3rd, 4th round, I'm suddenly able to put a sengier vampire into play and my opponent was like, "!!!!!" Just like that :)

nah, i love using cards kim plays against her, hehe. she always plays the one card that lets you get double mana for taping a land...and then i always kill her the next round
that's gotta get annoying after a while :p

Yeah...I went to that baseball shop all the time then back in 2nd grade...hehe they were so kewl...my slammers were metal and one smelled like bubble gum...hehe

I got tons of pogs and an extensive magic card collection.....but I don't play either of them anymore. Anyone ever take a "slammer" ( from the game, pogs ) to the eye? Ouch! I must confess, I did dig out my pogs after I read that.
I'll sell you my deck of magic cards from when I was in 3rd grade I think.... My older brother made me buy them so he'd have someone to beat, but then I beat him so we stopped playing :) . Just let me know how to get the cards to you and we'll set a price!

You are thinking of the fun card called Dark Ritual.
It was fun back when i was a sophomore, and we would havd huge games, like 10+ people, all just having fun. then the school split and we don't play those huge games anymore. I had a deck full of elves that would just create tons of mana, then pop out a huge hurricane. i would kill every one except myself because i prevented the damage with a pentagram of the ages. it was fun.
Me and my best friend still play though. we still go to friday night tourniments, and any major turni that we can get to and afford. I have built up a decent collection of cards, but nothing like my friends. i am still amazed by some peoples collection, and their value. some people are crazy. oh well. its all good.:cool:

I havn't played since before Ice Ages. Having revealed my old age, I will say that I recently (few weeks ago) bought a new deck of cards. They had shiny borders and looked fancy.
Other then that, I havn't bothered looking at them. No one to play with anymore. I used to beat my brother, but he was unimaginative and stole my cards. :(
Then I bought him out, and played with some firends, but we ended up going to different high schools. :(
Anyone else in the Northern Virginia area wanna play with me?

Anyone play Magic in the Indianapolis Area???... Oh yeah, this is ever more nerdier, anybody play, or used to play the Star Wars CCG???? I still have an unbeatable deck if anybody wants to take a shot at it...
