A couple of posts in another thread prompted this thread:
From the "This is a brutal game" thread ... THIS (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=469029&postcount=3) post by Rick Tyler and THIS (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=469044&postcount=11) post by M. Krass calls for an invitation to Indianapolis to witness (and/or participate in) the Indiana Robotics Invitational. These guys KNOW how to get it done. This is a TOP NOTCH, FIRST RATE event, IN A HIGH SCHOOL gym with a VERY reasonable budget. The IRI routinely draws most of the top teams from across the continent, including teams from California, Florida, New England, and even Canada. I am not directly involved with the organization of the IRI, but I have helped out as a referee and in other ways, and I would like to personally invite anyone interested to come see a fantastic post-season event in beautiful Indianapolis, IN. The 2006 IRI will be held on July 21-22. Watch "this space" and the IndianaFIRST.org (http://www.indianafirst.org/) website in the weeks/months to come more for details.
