Seen above is an ancient photograph, taken in the early years of FIRST. Pictured is a member of an oft unappreciated and unknown portion of the drive team, the "Monks of the Team Light". Serving for many years maintaining clear indicator candles on each robot, burning with the flames of a thousand souls and indicating whether the robot was on the red or blue alliance; these individuals have since been eliminated with the onset of newfangled technologies, such as the "Team LED" and "Indicator Flags".
