I've noticed that many Animations that I see at competitions say either "Thanks to: Alex McGee" or "Thanks to: Team 1506". Just wondering, how many teams out there used their field model and thanked them in your credits?

(Upset that I didn't write team #'s down when I saw them...)

We didn't use any other teams stuff. We created everything ourselves.

:D :D I have no one to thank but me for my animation. I did all the work! I sat there in my chair and did everything. I also didn't use any model of the field in my animation because I wanted my animation to stand out. :D :D :D

yea we never used anything like that either from any other teams, we created all our own objects materials and everything. Its not right when you see a team using other teams models because its kinda un eventful. its kinda sad seeing an animation using free models and tutorial scenes. but i understand that I would have probably done the same in the beginning if i just opened the box at robotics. I overheard a team when they saw our animation that it was Mentor driven, and probably mentor done. They said it was too good to be from any student. but truth be told me and another kid on our team we sat down for two years learning everything we know... kinda like 868 from what i have read they have done the same thing and put out some amazing work... incase you read this 868 we were terrified of you but found out we wernt in your competitions, are you going to nationals with your animation? we won our last competition and found out we placed 2nd at the other two comps so were really excited about nationals... next year maybe we will put models out for other teams to use

I'm not asking for commentary. I'm just asking which teams DID use the 1506 models. Please no more commentary.

Swando, shouldnt you be in classes???

I'd appreciate any teams who used my model to let me know! Not because I want to keep track or anything, I just want to see how much it's benefiting teams. I've put one of these out each year since 02 for public use. If it gets popular, i might spend more than 2 hours on it and make a really high-res version or something. So let me know!
